Dr. Tyler W. Barrett obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor followed by his doctorate at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed an Emergency Medicine residency and chief resident year at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005.
He has served as a co-investigator on numerous industry and foundation-sponsored clinical trials. He is currently supported in part by a CDC/Tennessee Department of Health award for Statewide Opioid Education. Dr. Barrett has published more than 100 original manuscripts, journal club reviews, and abstracts. He currently practices emergency medicine in Nashville, Tennessee and is actively involved in promoting education about the dangers of opioids and vaping among student-athletes.

Megan Barry is the former Mayor of Nashville, TN. She was the first woman to be elected to the office. She is also a former council member at-large. Her professional experience includes working as a corporate executive, independent consultant focusing on business ethics and corporate responsibility and as an adjunct professor. She her MBA from Vanderbilt University and currently serves on the board of the Women’s Fund for the Community Foundation. She has served on several boards including the YWCA of Middle TN, and the Center for Non-Profit Management. Dr. Saeedpour owns and leads Dunn Healthcare Center, a 40+ year old chiropractic and wellness firm with 15 providers at two clinic locations. As a pre-Med student at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, Dr. Saeedpour had the opportunity to work at an integrated MD and chiropractic clinic. He saw firsthand how chiropractic and other alternative care methodologies can significantly improve health concerns which are often not fully addressed by traditional medicine because of its focus on symptoms. He developed a deep dedication to a more natural and comprehensive way of providing healthcare. After receiving a doctorate from Life University School of Chiropractic, Dr. Saeedpour practiced in Atlanta before returning to his hometown of Nashville to work at and ultimately purchase Dunn Healthcare Center. Under his direction, the center remains passionately committed to delivering patient-focused care and has been voted as the city’s best chiropractic clinic in the Nashville Scene and The Tennessean. Under Wes’s leadership, Meridian Behavioral Health Systems, LLC (“MBHS”) was formed in 2012 by experienced hospital operators and healthcare investors to take advantage of the current general shortage of psychiatric and behavioral health beds in the United States. In his role, Mr. Cruse oversees the operations and strategy of the organization as well as ensuring that the management company, and its affiliated dental care centers, provide access to vital dental services for children and adults in underserved areas. Today, the care delivery organization is comprised of 82 oral health centers nationwide, including the nation’s first dental accountable care organization.
Prior to his current role, which began in 2013, Mr. Cruse led a health care consulting firm with an emphasis on government-sponsored health care programs. Additionally, he spent eight years as the SVP of Development and Government Affairs at CSHM, the nation’s second largest Medicaid-focused dental practice management firm. Mr. Cruse was a member of former Tennessee Gov. Don Sundquist’s Cabinet, serving as Chief Administrative Officer and Assistant to the Governor for Legislation.
